Turn off Samsung smartphone without lockscreen
Hold power and volume down until phone goes off, let the power down key go and press volume up while still holding the power key. When a screen with many options appears you get let both keys go. Navigate with the volume keys and enter with the power key. thanks to Sushan for this solution
