- Today I sent an email regarding the summertime survey of the European Commission 2018 to data-protection-officer@ec.europa.eu. Here it is:
To the Data Protection Officer
Target website:
https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/2018-summertime-arrangements?surveylanguage=DE
In this survey you use a Google Captcha for answering the service.
First you are discriminating users who are blocked by Google. Second
you do not write in the privacy statement that you are using Google.
That is a breach of GDPR because Google can collect the mouse
movements on this site and save the hand caracteristics. From this is
it possible to derive information how your hand acts and this info can
help to imitate handwritten signatures. Aditionally it is unfair from
an economic view to support a big company to train their machine
learning of recognizing things.
Is it the EU who thinks their own laws are not made for the EU?
